Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, foam, water spray (mist).

Exposure hazards: Releases of hydrogen bromide, bromine and oxides o carbon. Hydrogen cyanide (Hydrocyanic acid). Nitorgen oxides (NOx).
Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Peronal precautions: Ventilate the area.
Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Methods for clean-up: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Residue may be washed down with water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Local exhaust is needed at sources of dust. Mecahnical ventilation is recommended.
