Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
The column elution method was used for the determination of the water solubility. The mean
flow rate for the 1st run was 36 ml h-1 and for the 2nd run 18 ml h-1. The resulting eluate
fractions were collected and analyzed by HPLC with UV detection.
According to the calibration curve of the test item the water solubility of BDB can be
estimated smaller than 0.05 mg l-1 at 20 °C.
