Description of key information

Regarding reproduction, the following ECx values were determined by counting juveniles: EC10 = 109.14 and NOEC =62.5 mg/kg soil (dw)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for soil macroorganisms:
62.5 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

A long-term study performed with Eisenia fetida is available for the substance. This GLP study is conducted according to OECD Guideline 222.

No mortality of adult worms was observed in the controls and in test substance treatment groups from from 62.5 to 250 mg/kg Dw. Less than 10% mortality was found in treatment groups of 500 mg/kg Dw and 1000 mg/kg Dw soil each. Regarding reproduction, the following ECx values were determined by counting juveniles: EC10 = 109.14 and NOEC =62.5 mg/kg soil (dw) (BASF SE, 2022).
