Cord, Igniter Article consisting of textile yarns covered with black powder or another fast burning pyrotechnic composition and of a flexible protective covering; or it consists of a core of black powder surrounded by a flexible woven fabric: It burns progressively along its length with an external flame and is used to transmit ignition from a device to a charge.
