In the available key study the density of 2,3 -butanediol ((2R,3S)-rich) was determined to be 1002 kg/m3 at 20 °C by immersed body method according to OECD 109. Relative density (dimensionless) was determined to be 1.002 at 20 °C. This was corroborated by the supporting study in which density was measured similar to method ASTM D7042. Measured density (ρ) was 1.0083 g·cm³ at 20°C at atmospheric pressure. This equals a relative density (dimensionless) of 1.0083.
