Additional information

As key study an acute toxicity test on fish according to GLP and OECD guideline 203 using Danio rerio as test species was performed (BASF 2008). As the substance is poorly soluble in water an eluate was tested according to OECD 29. After 96 hours no toxic effects were observed within the highest test concentration. Hence, the LL50 (96-h) is >100 mg/L, related to the loading rate of the substance.

This is confirmed by a supporting study with rare minow, where the LC50 is > 100 mg/L (nominal). A supporting study with rainbow trout resulted in the same LC50 value >100 mg/L.
