Description of key information

Viscosity of diisopropylnaphthalene: 12.1 - 13.2 mm²/s (20°C) and 6.25 to 6.42 mm²/s (40°C).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
6.4 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
40 °C

Additional information

The viscosity of diisopropylnaphthalene was determined according to the German national standard DIN 51562. Using a capillary method, the kinematic viscosities of two different batches of 2009 and 2010 were approx. 12 - 13 mm²/s at 20 °C and between 6 - 7 mm²/s at 40°C
