Photolysis and hydrolysis are expected to contribute significantly to the overall degradation of disulfiram in the environment (DT50 hydrolysis = half-lives 68.5 days, 3.5 days and 6.9 hours under acidic, neutral and alkaline conditions respectively; DT50 phototransformation in air = 57.9 min; DT50 phototransformation in water < 10 hours).
