In vitromutagenetic tests did not reveal any genotoxic effect in six well-conducted tests, two Bacterial Reverse Mutation Assays, twoin vitroMammalian Cell Gene Mutation Tests, and twoin vitroMammalian Chromosome Aberration Tests.

Although neither human data norin vivotests are available, the available data fromin vitrotests support the view that TNPP is a non-genotoxic substance.
