First-aid measures
- General advice:
If exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
- Following inhalation:
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
- Following skin contact:
Wash with plenty of soap and water.
- Following eye contact:
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water.
- Following ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: None known.
- Fire hazard: Not flammable.
- Explosion hazard: Product is not explosive.
- Fire fighting instructions: Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.
- Protection during fire fighting: Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Use self-contained breathing apparatus. EN 469.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Appropriate engineering controls: Avoid dispersal of dust in the air (i.e., clearing dust surfaces with compressed air). Ensure good ventilation of the work station.

Stability and reactivity
- Reactivity: No dangerous reactions known.
- Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
- Possibility of hazardous reactions: Hazardous polymerisation will not occur.
- Conditions to avoid: Avoid dust production. Heat.
- Incompatible materials: Strong acids. Strong bases. Strong oxidising agents.
- Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal decomposition generates: carbon oxides (CO, CO2). Silicon oxides.
Disposal considerations
Sewage disposal recommendations: Do not dispose of waste into sewer.
Waste disposal recommendations: Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
European List of Waste (LoW) code: For disposal within the EC, the appropriate code according to the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) should be used.
