TNS is unlikely to adsorb to solid surfaces since its log Koc (or log Kow) <3 (ECHA (2008) Guidance on Information, Requirements, and Chemical Safety Assessment, Chapter R.7.1.15, pg. 154). Measured Log Kow values are -1.37, 0.35, and 0.20, respectively, for the mono-, bis-, and pyro- components. Estimated Log Koc values are 0.25, 1.22, and 1.14 mL/g, respectively, for the mono-, bis-, and pyro- components. Log Koc values were calculated using KOCWIN v2.0.
The estimated Log Koc values of the TNS are 0.25, 1.22, and 1.14 mL/g, respectively, for the mono-, bis-, and pyro- components. The Koc values are 1.8, 17, and 14 mL/g, respectively.
