Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of Benzoic acid, 4-hydroxy-, C18-22-alkyl esters (CAS No. 201305-16-0) to aquatic invertebrates is available. The GLP study was conducted under static conditions according to OECD guideline 202 using Daphnia magna as test organism (Borowicz, 2000). Test substance concentrations between 1 and 100 mg/L were applied as loading rate WAFs and tested over a period of 48 h. No effects were reported and the 48 h-EL50 is determined to be > 100 mg/L based on the nominal loading rate.
