Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
rested. Seek immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash affected area with clean water for at least 15 minutes,
remove any foreign matter and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Rinse the
affected area with running luke-warm water or clean the area
with soap and water. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
be used.
In case of fire, restrict area around to authorised
personnel. Cool surrounding facilities with water. Move
containers to safe place, if possible.
Product arising from burning: The polymer is stable at room temperature. No decomposition
occurs below 150°C.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear full protective equipment,
including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
the area. Authorised personnel should wear appropriate
personal protective equipment and work from the windward
side. Remove sources of ignition. Collect the spillage
together and vacuum. Prevent the substance from entering
the drains. The collected material can then be disposed of
by incineration.
Handling and storage
eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Wear appropriate
protective clothing, such as gas masks against organic
gases, gloves, goggles and face-masks, boots, protective
clothing and aprons.
Ensure adequate ventilation in work areas. Prohibit high
temperature, sparks or sources of ignition in work areas.
Use anti-static, explosion-proof electrical instruments in
work areas.
Handle containers with care to prevent them from falling,
being dragged or receiving impact. Avoid spillage when
transferring chemicals from containers.
Wash thoroughly after handling. Change and launder clothes
if contamination occurs.
Storage: Store containers away from direct sunlight in a
well-ventilated area.
Locate storage areas away from fire and heat sources.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The test substance is imported in 20 kg craft laminated
paper bags or plastic-lined fibre drums.

Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None known.
Dust explosion: The test substance is an organic powder. Therefore, care
should be taken to avoid generating dust during handling
operations. Care should also be taken to prevent generation
of sparks/ sources of ignition.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Noone reported
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is the preferred option (method 660).
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None identified.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable, as the public at large will not use the test
substance.
