Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of cold water, get medical attention for
proper care.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contamined clothing, wash with plenty of cold water,
apply antiirritation cream.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth with cold water. In order to dilute gastric
contents drink plenty of water. At the first symptoms, seek
medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Menadione and toxic fumes due to the presence of CO, SOx,
NOx
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire protective equipment including self contained breathing
apparatus
Accidental release measures
circumstances. Collect spilled material avoid formation of
dusts. Do not allow product to enter drains, surface waters.
Keep in well-closed containers. Send off to waste disposal.
Handling and storage
suitable protection (mask, gloves, goggles); avoid
electostatic charging. Apply local exhaust ventilation. Wash
thoroughly after handling.
Storage: Keep container tighly closed and away from heat. Store in
cool, dry and well ventilated place. Avoid heat and light
exposure. Store separate from basic substances. Standard
packaging: carton boxes with inner polyethylene bag.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Carton boxes (10-25 Kg) with inner polyethylene bag
