Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of dimethyl propylphosphonate is 0.00022 Pa at 20 °C
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of dimethyl propylphosphonate was measured using a static method suitable for very low vapor pressures, according to the guidelines OECD 104 / EU A.4.

The quality of the apparatus was previously verified with the measurement of well-known reference compounds.

Experiments were performed at three temperatures, between 65 °C and 85 °C. The results permit the establishment of the relation between the vapor pressure of the compound and temperature, allowing the knowledge of the vapor pressure at different temperatures.

Based on the results, the vapor pressure of dimethyl propylphosphonate is calculated as being equal to 0.22 mPa (2.2E-06 mbar) at 20 °C, and 0.50 mPa (5.0E-06 mbar) at 25 °C.

Additional information

The vapour pressure of dimethyl propylphosphonate was measured using a static method suitable for very low vapor pressures, according to the guidelines OECD 104 / EU A.4.

The vapor pressure of dimethyl propylphosphonate is given by the following equation, recommended for the temperature range from approx. 20 °C to 130 °C.

p = exp(-13959 / T + 39.211)

Where p is the vapour pressure in Pa and T is the temperature in Kelvin.
