Description of key information
No test for Autoflammability has been performed as the substance does not ignite when treated with an open flame for 4 minutes. Under these circumstances an Autoflammability test is not feasable.
It can , however, be stated that TGIC has no autoflammability potential, as it is by itself not burning.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
No study has been performed as TGIC does not burn by itself (without supporting help by cellulose). At high temperature TGIC first melts, then decomposes at temperatures above 160°C.
It can thus be stated that TGIC has no autoflammability potential .
