Description of key information
Studies concerning toxicity to soil microorganisms have been waived based on the neglible expected exposure (high volatility of CTC and the low adsorption of CTC to the soil)

Based on the results of Walton et al (1989) some reversible effects are reported at a high concentration of 1 mg/g dw. As volatility of CTC is high, it is considered that CTC is not significantly present in soils; hence no further data generation is planned.
