Details on results:
The purpose of this study was to estimate the n-octanoVwater partition coefficient (Pow, Log Pow) of the test substance by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the test substance, Hexatran-100. Two peaks were identified in the test substance by HPLC analysis. The partition coefficient for each peak was calculated. The partition coefficient (Log Pow) ofHexatran-100 Peak 1 was determined to be -0.034 and the partition coefficient for Hexatran-1 00 Peak 2 as determined to be 0.733.
Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of test substance is between -0.034 and 0.733.
