Details on test solutions:
Preparation of the test solution
The test solution was prepared in the following way:
- Weighing of 1000 mg test item
- Adding of dilution water up to a final volume of 1000 mL (stock solution)
- Filling with dilution water up to a final volume of 10 L
At the start of the test, the test item pool contained 10 L test solution with the test item at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L dilution water. The control pool contained 10 L dilution water only.
The dilution water was prepared some days before the start of the test and stored without further aeration before use in the same cabinet and at the same temperatures as the fish test was performed. The pools were permanently aerated by an aeration pump.

Validity criteria fulfilled:

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of the described study no effects of P 101/04 on the mortality of fish were determined. The NOEC (no observed effect concentration) after 96 hours was 100 mg P 101/04 /L.
Executive summary:

In a 96-h acute toxicity study, zebra fish (Danio rerio) were exposed to N- (2 -nitrophenyl) -phosphoric triamide at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/l under static conditions.

No effects of P101/04 on the mortality of fish were determined. The NOEC (no observed effect concentration) after 96 hours was 100 mg P 101/04 /L.

The validity criteria were accomplished:

Mortality at the end of the test:   < 10 % in the control (observed: 0 %)

Test conditions:                              constant (observed: constant)

Oxygen concentration:                  > 60 % of the air saturation value throughout the test (observed: > 91 %)

Additional information

In a 96-h acute toxicity study according to OECD guideline 203, zebra fish (Danio rerio) were exposed to N- (2 -nitrophenyl) -phosphoric triamide at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/l under static conditions.

No effects of N-(2-Nitrophenyl)phosphoric triamide on the mortality of fish were determined. The NOEC (no observed effect concentration) after 96 hours was 100 mg P N-(2-Nitrophenyl)phosphoric triamid/L.
