Description of key information

Oxybenzone was found not having anti-androgen effects nor effects on uteri in rats.

Additional information

The substance has been assessed in a Hershberger assay for anti-androgen activity and was found negative of such effects. In addition an uterotrophic assay was performed, also turning out negative, not showing any effects on uteri of test animals.
