Description of key information

The BCF of TCPP for the terrestrial compartment was calculated using a QSAR-model of Jager (1998). On the basis of the logKow of 2.68, a BCFearthworm of 6.58 was estimated, indicating no potential on bioaccumulation in terrestrial organisms.

Additional information

For TCPP no experimental data on the bioaccumulation potential for the terrestrial compartment are available.

On the basis of the logKow of 2.68, a BCFearthworm of 6.58 is estimated for TCPP.

A QSAR model was used for estimating the BCF value in earthworms based on log Kow. As recommended in the Guidance document on information requirements and chemical safety assessment R.7c, the model of Jager (1998) is used as a reasonable worst case assumption for an initial assessment.
