Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The particle size distribution was determined by laser diffraction and the dry powder module in accordance with ISO 13320 and CIPAC MT 187. The Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter was shown to be ca. 15.592 μm with a Geometric Standard Deviation of 1.277 to 1.312 . The percentile particle size, D10 of the substance analysed was < 2.890 μm, D50 of < 5.652 μm and the D90 of < 10.771 μm, with standard deviations of 2.89, 5.6518 and 10.7716 respectively.
- Executive summary:
The particle size distribution of was determined by laser diffraction and the dry powder module in accordance with ISO 13320 and CIPAC MT 187. In which, a direct observation of fine off-white powder with clusters, 3.2 objective lens observation showing particles of irregular shaped crystals (approx. 3 μm with the largest size approx. 13 μm) and a 40 objective lens observation noting the sample is "made up of single crystalline particles" took place. The study was run 5 times and anaylysed via the Malvern Mastersizer 2000 Laser Diffraction Analyser. The average was reported as the final results.
