1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, oligomeric reaction products with 2,2-dimethylpropan-1,3-diol used as read-across chemical had LC50/EC50 and NOEC values greater than 100 mg/L in OECD test guideline 202, Acute Daphnia and OECD test guideline 203, Acute fish studies. The EC50 of the test substance in an OECD test guideline 209 Activated Sludge Respiration study was found to be greater than 1000 mg/L.
In an OECD test guideline 201 acute Algae study, the test substance had an EC50 value of 33.2 mg/L. The NOEC value for this acute algae study was 25 mg/L.
