Results and discussion
Partition coefficient
- Key result
- Type:
- log Pow
- Partition coefficient:
- <= 0
- Temp.:
- 23 °C
- Remarks on result:
- other: Since thesubstance does not dissolve in octanol, the partitioncoefficient is not reportable
- Remarks:
- . No data availble on the pH
- Details on results:
- There was no solubility in the octanol phase at 23 °C and therefore no reportable value is available.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The partitioning coefficient was set to be ≤ 0, due to the fact that no substance was disolved in octanol.
- Executive summary:
A study on CDX-403 was performed to determine the partition coefficient of the test substance, halohydrin dehalogenase enzyme, according to OECD Method 107. There was no solubility in the octanol phase at 23 °C and therefore no value is available. The partitioning coefficient was set to ≤ 0.
