Administrative data
First-aid measures
after inhalation: immediately remove to fresh air. Consult a physician afterwards.
after contact with skin: in case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.
after contact with eyes: immediately rinse eyes under water (approximately 15 minutes, or use an emergency eyewash). Afterwards consult a physician.
After ingestion: rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed:
carbon oxides
nitrogen oxides
Advice for firefighters
Use self-contained breathing apparatus
Further information
use water spray jet to suppress corrosive fumes (HCl)
Accidental release measures
Wear personal protective equipment. 'Unprotected persons must be kept away.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Take up mechanically. Dispose od absorbed material in accordance with the regulations.
Handling and storage
Preferably handle in closed system.
Ventilation, local exhaust required.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Organic products which are intentionally or unintentionally in powdered form have, in priciple, the possibility of creating a dust explosion hazard. Observe the usual precautionary measures required for chemicals with dust explosive properties.
During its whole lifecycle the substance is handled in closed system under strictly controlled conditions to Art. 17(3) of the REACH legislation. This fact is confirmed by the producer and the user of the product.
Further information on storage conditions
Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.
