Vapour Pressure at 25°C

The duration of the main test conducted at 25°C was approximately 29 days. The vapour pressure of the test item was determined at three different gas flow rates. The vapour pressure of the test item was 1.0834E-7, 4.7000E-7, and 4.2335E-7 Pa at 20, 30, and 40 mL/min flow rates, respectively. These results clearly indicate that the nitrogen gas was completely saturated with test item at all three flow rates for the duration of the test. The mean value of vapour pressure was 6.5892E-7Pa.

Vapour Pressure at 35°C

The duration of the main test conducted at 35°C was approximately 30 days. The vapour pressure of the test item was determined at three different gas flow rates. The vapour pressure of the test item was 7.8117E-7, 3.5164E-7, and 2.4079E-7 Pa at 20, 30, and 40 mL/min carrier gas flow rate, respectively. These results clearly indicate that the carrier gas was completely saturated with test item at all three flow rates for the duration of the test. The mean value of vapour pressure was 4.5787E-7 Pa.

Vapour Pressure at 45°C

The duration of the main test conducted at 45°C was approximately 31 days. The vapour pressure of the test item was determined at three different gas flow rates. The vapour pressure of the test item was 6.6937E-7, 3.2473E-7, and 1.8308E-7 Pa at 20, 30, and 40 mL/min carrier gas flow rate, respectively. These results clearly indicate that the carrier gas was completely saturated with test item at all three flow rates for the duration of the test. The mean value of vapour pressure was 3.9239E-7 Pa.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The measured vapour pressure of the test substance at 25, 35, and 45°C was 6.5892E-7, 4.5787E-7, and 3.9239E-7, respectively. The calculated vapour pressure at 25°C was 6.41E-7 Pa (4.808E-9 mm Hg or Torr)
Executive summary:

This study was conducted to determine the vapour pressure of the test substance. The vapour pressure was determined according to the regulatory guidelines: OPPTS 830.7950 and OECD 104 employing the Gas Saturation method. The vapour pressure of the test item was determined at three gas flow rates (approximately 20, 30, and 40 mL/min) and at three temperatures (25, 35, and 45°C). The mean vapour pressure values were 6.5892E-7, 4.5787E-7, and 3.9239E-7 Pa at 25, 35, and 45°C, respectively. The calculated vapour pressure was determined to be 6.41E-7 Pa (4.808E-9 mm Hg or Torr) at 25 °C.
