First-aid measures
EYE CONTACT: Ensure that contact lenses are removed before rinsing eyes. Separate eyelids, wash the eyes thoroughly with water (15 min). Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. Get medical attention if irritation still persists.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove any contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with water and soap immediately and rinse thoroughly. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
INGESTION: Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Carbon dioxide; dry chemical; Water spray; Foam
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons:
Caution using water spray if molten metal is present.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or mixture itself, combustion products, resulting gases:
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
Appropriate breathing apparatus may be required. Wear protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Avoid inhaling vapor and/or mists. Do not get spilled material on skin, clothing, or in eyes.
Environmental precautions:
Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater. In case of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.
Methods for cleaning up/taking up:
Scoop up excess material and wash affected areas with soap and water. Collect material into sealed and labeled containers for disposal. When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal considerations".
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Provide good ventilation of working area (local exhaust ventilation, if necessary).
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: The product is not combustible.
Storage
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: No special measures required.
Advice on storage assembly: Do not store together with foodstuffs. Do not store together with animal feedstocks.
Further information on storage conditions: No special measures necessary.

Exposure controls / personal protection
EYES AND FACE: Wear safety glasses with side shields as a minimum level of protection.
SKIN: Wear chemical resistant gloves.
RESPIRATORY: At room temperatures, no additional ventillation is expected to be required. When in use at high temperatures, exhaust ventilation must be provided. When ventilation is inadequate, wear a NIOSH or European Standard approved respirator, in accordance with OSHA respirator regulations [29 CFR 1910.134] or European Standards [EN149].
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Avoid skin contact. Wear chemical resistant clothing ( long-sleeved shirt buttoned at the wrist) as necessary
to prevent contact. For soldering/brazing operations where hot metallic parts are handled and molten metal may be present, wear heatresistant
gloves and clothing to protect from burns.
Stability and reactivity
Not a reactive substance and no reactive hazards are expected.
Chemical stability
Expected to be stable under normal conditions of use.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
No hazardous reactions expected under normal conditions of use.
Conditions to avoid
Not applicable.
Disposal considerations
Product:
Allocation of a waste code number, according to the European Waste Catalogue, should be carried out in agreement with the regional waste disposal company.
Disposal should be done in accordance with national or regional regulations. The burden of proof must be satisfied.
Packaging:
Dispose of in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
