Description of key information

A ready biodegradation test closed bottle according to OECD test guideline 301D was performed on 1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, oligomeric reaction products with 2,2-dimethylpropan-1,3-diol used as read-across chemical. .

The test substance,1,2,3,6 -Tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, oligomeric reaction products with 2,2 -dimethylpropane-1,3 -diol, under the conditions of the O.E.C.D. 301D test guideline was not readily biodegradable demonstrating a maximun percent biodegradation of 2.4% after 21 days of contact.
