Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, information requirement 7.13, this study does not need to be conducted based on structural assessment of the substance.

Description of key information

In accordance with section 7.13 of Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials.  This can be determined on the basis of the chemical structure (e. g. organic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms and these elements are not chemically bonded to nitrogen or oxygen). The structure does not include moieties associated with oxidising properties therefore it is considered justified to omit this study.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to oxidising properties.
