The test substance was formed into an unbroken powder train about 250mm long by 20mm wide by 10mm high. A hot flame from a gas burner was applied to one end of the powder train for 2 seconds. The test substance ignited. When the gas burner was removed the flame extinguised within a few seconds. The test substance did not burn over a length of 200mm, therefore, according to the guideline, no main test was performed.
