First-aid measures

- General advice: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product. Remove breathing equipment only after contaminated clothing have been completely removed. In case of irregular breathing or respiratory arrest provide artificial respiration.
- Following inhalation: Supply fresh air. Call a doctor immediately. Supply fresh air or oxygen; call for doctor. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation. Resorption.
- Following skin contact:Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Resorption
- Following eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.
- Following ingestion: Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. Induce vomiting and call for medical help. Do not induce vomiting; call for medical help immediately. Resorption.
- Most important symptoms and effects: No further relevant information available.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Fire-extinguishing powder. Foam
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.
- Advice for fire fighter: Protective equipment: Wear fully protective suit. Mouth respiratory protective device. Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.
- Environmental precautions: Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil. Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust). Dispose contaminated material as waste according to "disposal considerations". Ensure adequate ventilation.

Handling and storage

Handle the substance under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18(4) of REACH Regulation. Rigorous containment should be achieved.
- Precautions for safe handling: Work only in fume cupboard. Keep receptacles tightly sealed. Ensure good interior ventilation, especially at floor level. (Fumes are heavier than air). Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Open and handle receptacle with care. Prevent formation of aerosols.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Storage:
-Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a cool location.
-Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from oxidising agents.
-Further information about storage conditions: Store in a cool place. Keep container tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed receptacles.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Organisational protection measures: Do not eat or drink while working. Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Store protective clothing separately.
Hand protection: Protective gloves. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Material of gloves: Nitrile rubber, NBR.
Body protection: Protective work clothing
Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles.
Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device only when aerosol or mist is formed: Filter B, Filter P2. In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposure use self-contained respiratory protective device.

The substance is used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18 (4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates. The substance should be rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies should be in place in order to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4). Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used in cases of accidents and where waste is generated. The PPE may be also used as a good practice.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity : No further relevant information available.
Chemical stability : No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.
Possibility of hazardous reactions : Reacts with strong oxidising agents. Forms explosive gas mixture with air.
Conditions to avoid : No further relevant information available.
Incompatible materials : No further relevant information available.
Hazardous decomposition products: Nitrogen oxides. Poisonous gases/vapours. Flammable gases/vapours.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: Must be specially treated adhering to official regulations. Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.
Uncleaned packaging: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
