Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact : Remove all contaminated clothes and footwear immediately unless stuck to skin. Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove victim to hospital immediately.
Eye contact : Bath the eye with running water immediately and for 15 minutes. Consult a doctor or ophtalmologist.
Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting. In case of ingestion, rinse mouth with water only if the victim is conscious.
Inhalation : Breath fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. In case of respiratory failure, practise artificial respiration. Call physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media : Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder.
Forms explosive mixtures with air on intensive heating.
Fire may cause evolution of nitrogen oxides.
Advice for firefighters : Stay in danger area only with self-contained breathing apparatus. Prevent skin contact by keeping a safe distance or by wearing suitable protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Avoid substance contact. Do not breathe vapours, aerosols. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate the danger area, observe emergency procedures.
Do not empty into drains.
Cover drains.
Collect, bind and pump off spills.
Clean-up affected areas.
Handling and storage
Keep on tightly closed.
Keep in a well-ventilated area.
Keep locked-up or in a area accessible only to qualified person or authorised persons.
Store at +15°Cto +25°C.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Immediately change contaminated clothing. Apply preventive skin protection. Wash hands and face after working with substance. Do not inhale substance.
Personal Protective Equipment :
Eye/face protection : Tightly fitting safety googles.
Hand protection : Full contact : Glove contact : Buttyl-rubber
Other protective equipment : Protective clothing
Environmental precautions : Do not discharge into drains or rivers.
Stability and reactivity
Forms explosive mixtures with air on intensive hetaing.
In contact with nitrites, nitrates, nitrous acid, possible liberation of nitrosamines.
Exothermic reaction with : Acid chlorides, acid anhydrides, strong oxydising agents, acids.
Avoi strong heating.
Disposal considerations
Do not discharge into sewer or waterways.
Waste treatment methods : Disposal operations : Transfer to a suitable container and arrange for collection by specialised disposal company.
Waste treatment methods : Disposal of packaging : Recycle wherever possible. Dispose by incineration in a licensed apparatus.
