III lisa register

La ECHA ha compilado una lista de sustancias que, probablemente, cumplen los criterios del anexo III del Reglamento REACH. Dicha lista tiene por objeto ayudar a los solicitantes de registro a determinar si se precisa la información completa indicada en el anexo VII o si es posible acogerse a los requisitos de información menos exhaustivos.

La lista se ha elaborado a partir de bases de datos públicas que contienen datos experimentales y de acuerdo con los resultados de los modelos (Q)SAR. Las indicaciones de propiedades toxicológicas y ecotoxicológicas peligrosas, la información sobre los usos y otros datos pertinentes deberán compararse con los criterios expuestos en el anexo III.

El hecho de que una sustancia no aparezca en esta lista no significa necesariamente que no cumpla con los criterios del anexo III. De igual modo, cuando una sustancia esté presente en esta lista, el solicitante de registro podrá beneficiarse de los requisitos de información menos exhaustivos siempre que esté justificado.

Tenga en cuenta que el catálogo no es una herramienta de clasificación sino que incluye únicamente notificaciones sobre sustancias que suscitan preocupación. Por ejemplo, el hecho de que una sustancia tenga la indicación «posible mutágeno», no significa que la ECHA la considere clasificada como mutágena. Deberán tenerse en cuenta todas las pruebas antes de concluir la necesidad de una clasificación.
