In OECD Guideline 301B, C, and D studies, the test substance was determined to be not Readily Biodegradable. In a test for inherent biodegradation (OECD 302C), however, the test substance was determined to be inherently biodegradable.
No rate constant for elimination in a sewage treatment plant can be provided, however. The results of inherent biodegradation tests can be used for determining a rate constant only if a level of 70% degradation is reached within 14 days in the Modified MITI Test (II).
