Description of key information

According to “ANNEX VII- STANDARD INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBSTANCES MANUFACTURED OR IMPORTED IN QUANTITIES OF 1 TONNE OR MORE , study for Explosive properties does not need  to be conducted if:
—there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecul

Due to the absence of chemical groups associated with Explosive properties or other structural alerts this substance is not considered to exhibit Explosiveness.
This product is generally non explosive as well on the basis of the chemical structure.
Exceptions include the alcoholic solutions of sodium methylate (in which the solvent is flammable). Also, ammonia, which is considered to be nonflammable, actually does burn with difficulty and in confined spaces has exploded
Therefore testing for Explosive properties does not need to be performed.

Based on the hazard assessment of2-(2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanolin section 2.1 and2.2 in IUCLID 5.3, available data for the substance and according to the criteria described in Directive 67/548/EEC and in the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP Regulation):
