Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The 30 minute and 3 hour EC50 for inhibition of the respiration rate of aerobic waste water bacteria for C3-Phosphoniumbromid is
> 100 mg/l (nominal concentration). - Executive summary:
A test was conducted to determine the inhibitory concentration of C3 -Phosphoniumbromide on the respiration of aerobic waste water bacteria according to OECD guideline for testing of chemicals 209. The durations of exposure tested were 30 minutes and 3 hours. The EC50 (30 min) and the EC50 (3 hr) were found to be >100 mg/l based on the nominal concentrations.
