Description of key information

surface tension (1g/L, 20°C): 44.1 mN/m

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
44.1
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000

Additional information

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Kintrup (2013) the surface tension of Aspartic acid, N-(3-carboxy-1-oxo-sulfopropyl)-N-(C16-18 (even numbered), C18 unsaturated alkyl) tetrasodium salts was determined according to test method EEC A.5 with the ring method at 20 °C and a concentration of 1 g/L to be 44.1 mN/m.

The result is considered acceptable for the risk assessment
