In the grain fraction > 5000 µm are particles of the dimension up to 90000 µm.

Executive summary:

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Bütfering (2012) the particle size distribution of Butandioic acid, sulfo-, 1,4-bis(2-methylpropyl)ester, sodium salt was determined using sieves from 125 to 5000 µm. In the grain fraction > 5000 µm are particles of the dimension up to 90000 µm.The mass median diameter (MMD) of the test item is calculated to be > 10000 µm.

This study is considered relevant for the risk assessment.
