Description of key information
No test data are available on transport and distribution. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, adsorption/desorption screening and further investigations on adsorption/desorption (according to Annex IX) are not performed as the physical-chemical nature of polymerized soybean oil (extremely lipophylic, poorly water soluble, formation of oily layer on the water surface) and poor analytical methods available make these tests technically not feasible.
The log Kow (>6.9) and a non-validated QSAR calculation for adsorption indicate that the substance will most likely have a potential for adsorption (log Koc > 4.96).
