The viscosity was constant at all shear rates at both temperatures. The test item was thus considered to be a Newtonian fluid.

The measurement as described is validated at least once every year.

The dynamic viscosity of the test item at 20°C and 40°C ranged between 12 to 61 mPa.s at a shear rate from 349 to 2705 s-1. Therefore, the test item was considered to be a Newtonian fluid.

Conclusions:
The dynamic viscosity of terpineol multiconstituent was determined to be:
- 60.9 mPa.s at 20.0°C ± 0.2 °C at constant shear rate of 583 s-1,
- 12.4 mPa.s at 40.0°C ± 1°C at constant shear rate of 583 s-1.
Executive summary:

Key study was performed in order to determine the viscosity of terpineol multiconstituent according to OECD Guideline No 114 and with Analytical Method DRT 5230 “Determination of dynamic viscosity with a rotary viscometer Haake VT550 or Rheolab QC”. The dynamic viscosity was determined at different shear rates and at a constant shear rate using a rotary viscometer.

The dynamic viscosity of the test item at 20°C and 40°C ranged between 12 to 61 mPa.s at a shear rate from 349 to 2705 s-1.

The test item was considered to be a Newtonian fluid.

The dynamic viscosity of TERPINEOL MULTICONSTITUENT was determined to be :

- 60.9 mPa.s at 20.0°C ± 0.2°C at a constant shear rate of 583 s-1,

- 12.4 mPa.s at 40.0°C ± 1°C at a constant shear rate of 583 s-1
