In a non-GLP study according to the German national standard DIN 38412 the toxicity of 2 -ethylhexylamine to Leuciscus idus was determined (BASF 1982). In this study the LC50 for the non-neutralized samples ranges between >46.4 and <68.1 mg/L. The LC50 value for the neutralized samples was determined to be between > 100 and < 500 mg/L. In a publication published by Juhnke & Luedemann, 1978 an LC50 (48 h) of 16 mg/L was determined.
