Description of key information

Biodegradation in water: screening tests: 4.5% Biodegradation in 28 days (OECD guideline 310). Not readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

A ready biodegradation result of 4.5% in 28 days was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol, and in compliance with GLP. Under the experimental conditions of the study, it is possible that an amount of the test substance may have been present in the headspace of test vessels and therefore not be available for biodegradation. However, this is not expected to have affected the results significantly.
