Assessment of explosive properties was made by examining the chemical structures of the components with a list of functional groups that may indicate explosive properties in organic materials (Appendix 6 of the United Nations ‘Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria’). From an examination of the chemical structure of the test material, it was concluded that it contained no functional groups which are characteristic of explosive properties.

Interpretation of results:
other: non explosive
Remarks:

Description of key information

not explosive (EU A.14)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

non explosive

Additional information

The test material contains no functional groups which are characteristic of explosive properties.
