- Justification:
A manometric respirometry test has shown that 2 -EHA was readily biodegradable. This result was confirmed by other ready biodegradation tests (OECD 301C and 301E).
Based on these results, 2-EHA is considered neither persistent nor very persistent
A bioaccumulation test (OECD 305) in carp with 2-ethylhexyl acrylate resulted in a kinetic BCF of 347 L/kg.
As the substance is not considered to be persistent or very persistent, nor bioaccumulative or very bioaccumulative, no further toxicity assessments are needed.
