Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The Henrys Law Constant of N,N-dimethylacetamide (CAS 127 -19 -5) was measured in a study by Taft et al. (1985) to be 0.00133 Pa*m³/mol; these data are cited in the peer reviewed Physprop database used within the (Q)SAR estimation tool EpiSuite v4.11.

The experimental data are supported by the results of a (Q)SAR calculation; the Henry's Law constant was estimated using HENRYWIN v3.20 (EPISuite v 4.11) to be 0.0546 Pa*m³/mol; this estimation refers to the uncharged molecule. The substance was within the applicability domain of the estimation model.

Based on the available data, the substance is assessed to not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface.
