Description of key information

According to column 2 Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), the water solubility was not conducted as the substance
is hydrolytically instable at pH 4, 7 and 9. As an approximation of the water solubility the value of 440 mg/L can be regarded. It was
determined from an hydrolysis experiment (Horrobin_1963) and very likely is to high extent due to supersaturating effects in the experiments.
Exact water solubility for Cyanuric chloride is not determinable as the substance hydrolyzes rapidly in water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
