Description of key information

Testing for this endpoint was omitted, as the available data showed sufficient evidence that the substance does neither need to be classified for the environment, nor assessed to be a PBT or vPvB. Additionally, tantalum metal is practically insoluble in water and therefore adverse effects on aquatic organisms are not expected. Further testing at this trophic levels was considered unnecessary.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is not soluble in water and not considered to exert any toxic effect on aquatic environment.
