Since the substance forms micelles in water, the water solubility is expressed as the critical micelle concentration (CMC), in this case 3.5 mg/L (pH 7, 23°C).

The CMC is determined from the CMC curve by solving the two equations. The CMC for Ethomeen HT/12 at pH 7 is determined to 3.5 mg/L. The operating temperature is room
