Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The primary fatty amine ethoxylates are readily biodegradable and are rapidly biotransformed by fish liver S9 fractions it is therefore unlikely that they will accumulate in the food chain. Since there is a log Kow value measured with the slow stirring method according to OECD 123, this value is used to predict the bioaccumulation potential. Based on this log Kow value of 3.6, the calculated log BCF is 2.04 (BCF = 110 L/kg ww; EpiSuite v4.0).

BCF (aquatic species):
110 dimensionless

Additional information

The calculated BCF value of 110 indicates that Bis (2-hydroxyethyl) tallow alkylamine has a low to moderate bioaccumulation potential.
