Justification:

Fish oil sulfated sodium salt is readily biodegradable and therefore satisfies the criteria set out in Aneex XIII for not being Persistent

 

Bioaccumulation: at the higher log Kow values predicted by KOWWIN, the BAF and BCF predictions are far below the 2000 criterion.

 

Toxic: the substance has reliable tests for all the trophic levels for the acute and long term exposures on analogous substances.

The more sensitive species and effect at lower dose has been found in Fish, for which a reduction in the lenght of the juvenile fish has been reported in the FELS test (OECD 211), that sets the NOELR ca. 0.62 mg/l.
